Will Writing

What is a Will?

A Will is a legally binding document that ensures your loved ones are cared for in the way you intend. A Will allows you to clearly outline who should receive your assets, how your estate should be distributed, who should look after any dependents and even funeral wishes. It also gives you the freedom to appoint trusted individuals to manage your affairs and carry out your wishes.

Our Will Writing services are available to individuals in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Our Will Writing Service

Standard Service
If you want to leave assets outright to named beneficiaries,
ensuring your assets, irrespective of the total value, are distributed according to your wishes. Appointing guardians and trusted executors are included in the service.
Advanced Service
If you want lasting protection and control, our Advanced Service uses more complex trusts in your Will to manage your estate for loved ones rather than gifting it outright — ideal for vulnerable beneficiaries, blended families, or where your
wishes differ from your partner’s.

Clear plans make things easier later

Many people assume they do not need a Will yet. In reality, having one in place helps reduce uncertianty, delays, and difficult decisions for loved ones.

Why do I NEED a Will?

  • To make sure the people I care about are protected.
  • To decide who inherits what - not the law.
  • To choose trusted people to handle my affairs.
  • To provide and care for my children exactly as I wish.
  • To avoid delays, costs, and legal complications.
  • To pass on my estate in a tax-efficient way.
  • To have peace of mind knowing everything is in order.

A Will gives you control and clarity, and gives your loved ones certainty when it matters most.

How We Help

We make the process clear and straightforward. An expert consultant will talk you through your options, explain what you need to consider, and prepare your Will based on your wishes.

Everything is handled with care, accuracy and confidentiality.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and make changes before anything is finalised, so you can be confident your Will reflects exactly what you want.

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) England and Wales

What is an LPA?

An LPA is a legal document that allows you to appoint a trusted person to make decisions on your behalf if ever you are unable to make them yourself. This can be due to illness, accident or loss of mental capacity.

There are two types of LPAs in England and Wales:

Property and Financial Affairs LPA
This type of LPA allows your attorney to manage your finances such as:
  • Managing bank accounts
  • Paying bills or mortgage payments
  • Managing investment
  • Buying or Selling property

Health and Welfare LPA
This type of LPA allows your attorney to make healthcare and medical decisions on your behalf such as:
  • Daily care and routines
  • Medical treatment
  • Where you live (e.g., care home decisions)
  • Life-sustaining treatment (if you choose)

Why Do you Need One?

  • Creating an LPA gives you peace of mind that if something were to happen to you, your loved ones can look after you.

  • While often associated with later life, setting up a Lasting Power of Attorney is just as important for younger individuals who may face unexpected incapacity through accident or illness.

  • Without a valid LPA in place, your loved ones could face significant delays and legal costs by having to apply to the Court of Protection to gain access to your finances or make care decisions on your behalf.

Pilot Trusts

What is a Pilot Trust?

Pilot Trusts are an effective tool in estate planning used to receive death benefits outside your estate. Pilot Trusts gives you greater control, enabling you to make provision for family members, friends and charities without the formalities of probate. Our Pilot Trust service is only available to individuals in England and Wales.

Why Do you Need One?

  • Protect Death-in-Service Benefits: Keep funds outside of your estate which can reduce inheritance tax liability

  • Safeguard Capital for Future Generations: Greater protection for loved ones (i.e. in the event of death, divorce or bankruptcy)

  • Provide financial security for minor children or loved ones with vulnerabilities

  • Keep wealth within bloodline
